Palma Congress Center to host the first International Art Fair of Mallorca

Galleries and worldwide art experts participated on September 21 at the presentation of ArtMallorca 2019, the new International Art Fair in the Mediterranean, organized by the prestigious Basel Art Center. Art Mallorca will be held at the Palma Congress Center in September 2019 and will be one of the major cultural events in the city, giving a key boost to the international positioning of Palma as a European cultural destination.

During the event, Basel Art Center presented its guests with the unique opportunity to participate in the first edition of ArtMallorca 2019. Palma, a cosmopolitan city with a spectacular artistic expression, has seen how in recent years its number of collectors has grown, for which ArtMallorca is born at the most opportune moment, with the challenge of becoming a unique experience for art lovers.

The fair will open its doors from September 20 to 22, 2019 and will gather more than 40 prestigious galleries from around the world at the Congress Center.

During the presentation of the event, the general manager of the Congress Center, Ramón Vidal, stated that "I am convinced that ArtMallorca will provide a series of benefits for our city, and the Congress Center is undoubtedly the best showcase to strengthen its positive impact.
