This is how the Palma Convention Center received the new year

More than 500 people were able to enjoy a magical farewell of the year in one of the most unique and modern settings of the Bay of Palma, as is the new Convention Center, which celebrated its first New Year's Eve by surprising all its guests with a memorable event, inspired by the title "The Show that never ends".

Attendees were greeted on the red carpet with a welcome glass of cava and tasted the appetizers in the hall of the Auditorium Mallorca. Later, they enjoyed a delicious gala dinner in the Expo area, a space of more than 1,500 square meters, which was transformed to celebrate this magical night of the year with an exceptional game of lights and projections.

The children were also protagonists on this special night and could have fun in a large children's play area with childminders, creating an end-of-year experience especially designed for them.

After the traditional bells with the essential grapes of luck, the guests enjoyed a lively new year party with dancing and live music, and as it could not miss, Mallorcan ensaimada and hot chocolate.

With this special gala, the Palau de Congressos once again demonstrated the great versatility of this new infrastructure for the city, which in its first year has hosted from small events to large exhibitions, congresses and cultural performances, thus opening space for tourism business and also for the development of a new cultural offer in Palma.

The Convention Center shined like never before to bid farewell to a very significant year in its history, marked by its successful opening, and bring luck to all the events that are expected to be held in this great convention center of Palma during 2018.
